ACE recovers Rs5.22b

The land was transferred to Dera Ghazi Khan Municipal Corporation

The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) on Friday recovered Rs5.22 billion under mutation of land records. As per details, the land measuring 261 kanals was located at New Defence View Housing Scheme, Dera Ghazi Khan. The land was transferred to Dera Ghazi Khan Municipal Corporation. The said land will be used for public amenities such as schools, parks, hospitals graveyards and playing grounds in the scheme. Punjab ACE DG Gohar Nafees lauded the efforts of the concerned investigation officer Kashif Rafique for his hard work for the greater good. He added that ACE was working for the protection of the citizens’ right and the crackdown against corrupt elements will go unobstructed.
