Investigations Police Gawal Mandi claimed to have arrested two suspected proclaimed offenders on Saturday.
The arrested suspects were identified as Munir Ahmad and Azhar Abbas. The suspect Munir Ahmad was involved in fraud in financial matters and a case was registered against him. However, after the fraud he went into hiding and police had been looking him for the past two years.
Suspect Azhar Abbas had issued a cheque of Rs1.6 million rupees to a citizen. However, it later on bounced.
A case was registered against him but the suspect went into hiding. Police had been looking for him for last two years. Police said they were investigating the suspects further.
