Pindi to get Railways University: Rasheed

Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that a well-quipped Railways University will soon be established in Rawalpindi with the cooperation of the Chinese government.

Addressing the ground breaking ceremony of a quad-storey hostel block for Women University, Satelite Town, to be completed with an estimated cost of Rs70 million, the minister said that Rawalpindi will soon become a unique city having three women universities.

s a difficult task but hectic efforts were made for a campus on Sixth Road.

Replying to a question, the minister said that PM Imran was not happy at allowing Nawaz Sharif to go abroad. Rasheed said he fully agreed with the federal cabinet’s decision to bring back Nawaz and make him stand trial for his corrupt practices.

Regarding the opposition alliance, Rasheed said that the All Parties Conference of the opposition is very far away, people will not come out for the opposition, the meeting between Shahbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman was a failure, for the first time the head of a religious party is saying I do not trust political leaders.
