JEHLUM:

The main graveyard of the city has turned into a haven for drug addicts, The Express Tribune has observed during a survey. Drug addicts can be found loitering at the cemetery during the day. Some can even be seen lounging on graves after getting intoxicated. The situation has perturbed many who either come to the graveyard for funerals or those visiting the graves of their loved ones. Some people who used to visit the graveyard to offer prayers have stopped visiting it. Even though residents of adjoining areas and visitors have complained to the police, little has been done about the issue. Even officers who are deployed at Graveyard Chowk have not taken any action against the drug addicts despite receiving multiple complaints about the issue.
