Teenager shot dead for resisting robbery

Police to obtain CCTV footage near the crime scene to identify and track down the culprits

KARACHI:

A teenaged boy was shot dead by robbers in Ittehad Town on Sunday.

Two suspects on a motorcycle intercepted and held Haris Khan, 18, at gunpoint near Iqbal Mobile Market in Ittehad Town.

They opened fire on him when he resisted their attempt to loot him.

As a result, Khan died on the spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital while the robbers fled the scene.

The police said they were obtaining CCTV footage from cameras installed near the crime scene to identify and track down the culprits.
