Portugal extends support to IMC

Portuguese Ambassador Paulo Neves Pocinho extended his goodwill gesture to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:

Portugal is all set to support Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) in its projects for the beautification of the city, said Portuguese Ambassador Paulo Neves Pocinho.

Islamabad is a very beautiful city, but its beauty and greenery can be enhanced further, he said during a meeting with Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Ansar Aziz on Thursday. They discussed matters of mutual interest.

Pocinho extended his good will gesture to Pakistan and expressed keen interest in continuing the friendly relations with Pakistan in future as well. Aziz said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Portugal, both in the bilateral context as well as within the framework of European Union.
