Youth found dead in Sajjan area

Investigation reveals he may have died of a drug overdose

LAHORE:

A 22-year-old-man died under suspicious circumstances in Nishat Colony on Tuesday.

A passer-by spotted the body lying in Sajjan Chowk area and informed police. A police team reached site on information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also called forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses.

The victim was identified as Joggi Masih. The investigations revealed that the suspect was a drug addict and might have died of excessive use of drugs.
