Two die of electrocution
Two men were electrocuted to death in Gajjumatta on Tuesday.
The victims were identified as 40-year-old Sarfaraz and 17-year-old Farhan and were members of the same family. The victims worked in an embroidery unit and hailed from Narowal.
Reportedly, on the day of the incident, they felt an electric shock from a pedestal fan. A police team reached the spot on information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy and recorded statements of the eye-witnesses.
Police officials, however, stated that the victims seemed to have expired from natural causes. However, autopsy and further investigations will help ascertain further facts about the exact cause of death.
Police were investigating the matter further.
