MULTAN:

Health department teams detected dengue larvae from the water accumulated at a local hotel at Abdali Road on Tuesday and issued a notice to them.

Health officials have given 48-hour time to the hotel administration to remove heaps of solid waste and trash beside the open waste drums. The hotel administration was also directed to rectify faults in its water drainage system within the specified time.

The Dengue Surveillance team Head Dr Ataur Rehman said the dengue larvae found at the hotel have been neutralised and the process of Larviciding, IRS and spray has been completed there, said an official release.
