PPP minister slams Centre on IIOJK

HYDERABAD:

The Pakistan Peoples Party’s information secretary Moula Bux Chandio has said, “The failure of foreign office (FO) over the Kashmir issue is tantamount to the failure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government.”

In a statement on Sunday, Chandio referred to federal minister Dr Shireen Mazari’s censure of the FO on Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and said the PTI was shifting the blame of its flawed policies on the FO.

“The foreign minister [Shah Mehmood Qureshi] considers himself a champion of diplomacy. He should now respond to criticism of his fellow minister,” Chandio said. He questioned, “Should Qureshi remain at the helm of the FO even after the admitted failure of the Kashmir policy?”
