The cop, Niaz Khan, 26, who was deputed at Madadgar-15 police check post in Landhi, was run over by a truck carrying a container. As a result, he died on the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, Khan was driving on the wrong side of the road and in order to avoid a collision with a car coming from the opposite side, he lost his balance and was crushed to death by a truck.
