Karachi's fifth monsoon spell to begin tonight

30mm rain expected

KARACHI:

Another spell of heavy to moderate rains is expected in Karachi from today (Friday) evening, under a new monsoon system, said the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday.

As per the forecast, the intensity of the rain during the coming spell will be less than the previous bouts of monsoon rains. As much as 30mm of rain is expected during the spell, which is predicted to end by Sunday.

Meanwhile, other parts of Sindh are also to experience thundershowers.
