Balochistan kicks off tree plantation

QUETTA:

Balochistan kicked off its tree plantation campaign as Chief Secretary Capt (retd) Fazil Asghar planted a tree in Quetta.

"We should give a lot of importance to trees to improve our environment because trees also help in keeping the atmosphere clean," he said, adding that the monsoon tree plantation will have a positive impact on our health and environment. "Transparency of the environment and survival of human life depends on the coherence and continuity of the ecosystem."

The provincial chief secretary stressed upon protection of trees and saplings in order to build a healthy environment for future generations.
