ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed its registrar to forward the record of a swindler to the high courts of Peshawar and Sindh, as he obtained bails from there deceitfully.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah said that the suspect had committed fraud, contempt of court, and other offenses. He approached the Peshawar High Court and Sindh High Court and obtained bails from there, without informing them about the dismissal of bail plea from IHC.

The court directed to submit a report on what sections were applicable for misleading the court. Further, the court was exasperated at the suspect’s counsel and remarked what way it was that the people were maligning the law.

“Shouldn’t I refer your case to the related bar council?” Minallah said to the lawyer. He added that the lawyers must take a case after taking the conduct of the clients into account.
