RAWALPINDI:

Two men, who allegedly stripped a girl naked, filmed the incident and then posted the video on social media, are expected back in court today (Friday) after their pre-arrest bail expires.

The victim told the Waris Khan police that four men, who were allegedly intoxicated, had stopped him as she was walking by the Saidpuri Gate area of the city at around 2am on July 14.

They allegedly tore off her clothes and filmed her naked. Later, they posted the video on social media.

She continued that the four suspects allegedly raped and tortured her.

When the video went viral, Rawalpindi City Police Officer Ahsan Younas took notice of the incident and a case was registered against two of the suspects, Mohsin and Arsalan on July 15.

Police traced the then unidentified victim and subsequently recorded her statement on July 22 in court.

However, two of the suspects nominated in the FIR managed to obtain pre-arrest bail which will expire on August 7 (today).

Meanwhile, the police are looking for their third accomplice, Amir.

Meanwhile, Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that they have initiated legal proceedings to have the pre-arrest bail of the suspects cancelled.

He added that they will not tolerate the abuse of women and that they will bring the culprits to book.
