Two sisters drowned in Bolan River on Tuesday while taking a bath during a picnic with their family.
Levies officials said that the family belonged to the Satellite town area of Quetta. According to sources, the family members tried to rescue the girls but failed and this resulted in both sisters drowning in the deep water.
Levies forces rushed to the site soon after receiving information and recovered the bodies after an effort of 90 minutes. The bodies were shifted to the district hospital Mach. They were identified as 12 years old Saleema Bibi and 14 years old Saira Bibi. Later, bodies were handed over to the family.
