'Dirilis: Ertugrul' star talks marriage proposals by Pakistani women

Cengiz Coskun, who plays Turgut Alp, shared his thoughts on fame and sports

Cengiz Coskun, who plays the role of Turgut Alp in the Turkish drama serial, Dirilis: Ertugrul has an interesting reply for all the Pakistani women asking to marry him. The Turkish actor is playing the role of a close friend of Ertugrul Ghazi in the drama.

Turgut Alp was renowned for fighting with his axe. Cengiz has played the role so well, that like the show's protagonist, he has also risen to fame globally and especially in Pakistan.

Recently, Waseem Badami and Shahid Afridi interviewed him on a local channel, where they asked him some interesting questions. 

"Cengiz, when did you realise that you have become popular in Pakistan," asked Badami during the interview.
The actor responded, via Instagram. "I have also received numerous proposals from the Pakistani girls, but I can't marry everyone," he shared while laughing.

"Do you know any famous Pakistani dish?", Badami questioned to which he replied he knows about biryani but has no clue which tastes better, the one found in Karachi, or Lahore. He replied, "I will have biryani of both the cities when I visit Pakistan, and then tell, which tastes better."

Coskun, apart from being an actor, is also a professional basketball player and is a graduate from Sports Complex.
