A child was killed after being hit by a speeding car on Kashmir Road on Sunday. The body of five-year-old Muhammad Ali was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. The family of the deceased refused police procedures and took the body with them. Separately, 25-year-old Adil was injured after a speeding car ran him over in Nadiria Market in Nazimabad. He was taken to JPMC for treatment. According to the police, Adil, a police official, had been on his way home when the accident occurred. Meanwhile, the body of a 30-year-old man was recovered from a nullah. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities, while the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained until the filing of this report.
