Madrasah education directorate restored 

The admission schedule in all such religious seminaries will be issued after Eidul Azha

RAWALPINDI:

The Punjab government has restored the Directorate of Madrasah Education to oversee educational activities in seminaries taken over from the banned outfits. The directorate would be made operational in all nine divisions of the province and the services of five officers, including two women, from the education department have been already rendered to run its affairs. A senior officers in the education department on basic pay scale (BPS) 17, Saifur Rehman, has been deployed as the deputy director of the directorate. The admission schedule in all such religious seminaries would be issued after Eidul Azha. The government has also sought names for deployment on the seats on divisional and district levels while all preparations pertaining to recruitment in all branches is expected to complete by July end.
