Angry mob assaults ‘robber’
Citizens apprehended and assaulted a robber in Orangi Town on Sunday. Two suspects had allegedly tried to rob a shop in the area but the shopkeeper managed to nab one of them, while his accomplice managed to escape. When the shopkeeper raised an outcry, nearby citizens came to his aid and beat up the suspect. Arriving at the spot, the police took custody of the alleged robber and shifted him to the police station. They also seized the suspects’ motorcycles and launched an investigation into the incident.
