Forest and Wildlife Secretary Balochistan Dr Muhammad Saeed Jamali on Friday inaugurated a regular monsoon tree planting campaign in the province from Quetta’s Airport road, urging masses to join it in order to avert climate change impacts. Addressing the ceremony, Jamali said climate- change has not been hidden from anyone and its effects have become eminent to the people. “In order to provide a healthy environment to our future generations we have to plant more trees and saplings in Balochistan and Pakistan.” Dr Jamali announced to expand the tree planting campaign at regional and district level in the entire province.
