Two ‘drug peddlers’ arrested

A case has been registered against the accused

Cantt Police have apprehended two alleged drug peddlers and confiscated hashish, car and cash from their possession on Friday. According to police, Cantt Police launched a crackdown against drug peddlers under the supervision of Cantt Division SP Moaz Zaffar and SHO Inspector Zaheer Babar. The police team captured a car and arrested two notorious drug peddlers Ghulam Murtaza and Asia Bibi. Police also recovered over eight kilogrammes of hashish, and Rs52,000 cash from their possession. Police said that the criminals were involved in supplying drugs to different areas of the city and were wanted by police in various cases. A case has been registered against the accused, police sources added.
