Eight more succumb to coronavirus

228 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Lahore

Covid-19 has taken away eight more lives in the province, while the number of coronavirus cases in the province reached 88,539 after registration of 494 new patients till Thursday morning. According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, the total number of deaths in the province has reached 2,051. As many as 228 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Lahore, one in Nankana Sahib, five in Sheikhupura, 31 in Rawalpindi,13 in Attock, two in Chakwal, four in Jehlum, 15 in Gujranwala, 20 in Sialkot, three in Narowal, six in Gujrat, three in Mandi Bahauddin, 22 in Multan, three in Khanewal, 19 in Vehari, 29 in Faisalabad, four in Chiniot, six in Toba Tek Singh, one in Jhang, 15 in Rahim Yar Khan, seven in Sargodha, three in Mianwali, three in Khoshab, two in Bhakkar, two in Bahawalnagar, 27 in Bahawalpur, four in Lodhran, seven in Dera Ghazi Khan, seven in Muzaffargarh, two in Rajanpur, one in Layyah, four in Sahiwal, two in Okara and three new cases of coronavirus were reported in Pakpatan district during the last 24 hours.
