Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) and a private fish hatchery have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate for finer fish production at the hatchery besides offering paid and unpaid internship for students. MNSUA Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr Asif Ali, Assistant Professor Fisheries and Aquaculture and Project Director Hira Javid and Chief Executive Officer of the fish farm and hatchery Javid Iqbal were present on the occasion. The partnership aims to undertake practical steps to enhance the production of freshwater fish in South Punjab in addition to an opportunity for students to get practical knowledge in the field.
