Says mission of welfare will be achieved through cooperation

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar arrived in the Punjab Assembly and met with Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in his chambers on Thursday.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja, views were exchanged on matters of mutual interest, political situation and progress of construction of Punjab Assembly’s new building. Both the leaders agreed that negative propaganda would be dealt with jointly.

Usman Buzdar urges legislators to monitor relief measures

“We are taking the allies along, and things are becoming more stable with each passing day. The government is focused is on solution of people’s problems and measures for providing relief to the masses. Together, will continue to serve the people. The best working relationship has been established with the Pakistan Muslim League,” Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said. Speaker Punjab Assembly Parvez Elahi briefed him about the construction of new building of the assembly and the mosque.

“We are standing firm with the Punjab government in the mission to serve the masses. The mission to provide relief to the people will be further accelerated,” Elahi said. The speaker said that during the tenure of the previous regime the province had greatly suffered. The province was bankrupt due to wrong policies of the past government. Common people suffered due to delay in the public welfare projects.
