PR inspects stalls at railway stations

Good confiscated, fines imposed

KARACHI:

Pakistan Railways (PR) Karachi Division has commenced an inspection campaign at all the stalls at different railway stations to sniff out low-quality and prohibited items being sold there. Inspecting stalls at Karachi Cantt Station on Wednesday, the authorities found prohibited cigarettes being sold at several stalls as well as poor quality drinking water. Karachi divisional commercial officer (DCO) Nasir Nazeer confiscated the goods found during the search and imposed a fine on the sellers.
