18 officials fail SPSC exam
All 18 assistant commissioners, who were appointed directly without having to sit an exam, failed the examination that was conducted on court orders after their appointment, it emerged on Tuesday. The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) conducted the examination and SPSC official informed Sindh chief secretary about the disappointing result. In Sindh, all grade-18 officers, including assistant commissioners, are required to pass a SPSC exam to qualify for the post. However, the failed officials were recruited without having to appear for a test.
