Police claimed to have arrested four robbers belonging to different gangs in the provincial capital on Friday. Gulshan-e-Ravi police officials said that a police team arrested two suspects of a robbers’ gang and seized three motorcycles, four mobile phones, pistols and thousands of rupees in cash from the possession of the accused identified as Sikandar and Ramzan. SHO Amjad Bhatti said that the accused confessed to more than 25 crimes during the interrogation. They were involved in robberies and snatching in different areas of Lahore. Cases against the accused were registered and were referred to the investigation wing. Meanwhile, Nawa Kot police arrested two accused of a robbers’ gang during an operation. According to police, pistols and bullets were recovered from the possession of the accused Usman and Sohail. During interrogation, the accused confessed to several crimes. A case against the accused was referred to the investigation wing.
