Woman, who survived suicide bid, dies

LAHORE:

A 25-year-old woman who attempted suicide a few days back in North Cantonment area died in Lahore Mayo Hospital on Wednesday. The victim identified as Shaista had swallowed poisonous pills after being frustrated over a domestic dispute. She was admitted to Lahore Mayo Hospital after her condition deteriorated. She was undergoing treatment at the hospital; however, she could not survive and breathed her. Police handed over the body to the family after completing legal action.
