PMA demands arrest of doctor’s attacker
The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has demanded that the police apprehend those involved in torturing a doctor and vandalising the operation theatre (OT) of the Children Complex.
It said that after the registration of an FIR, police should arrest the accused at the earliest.
The demand was made in a meeting of a PMA delegation with Children Complex Dean Dr Kashif Chishti and MS Dr Zahid Akhtar on Thursday. “Three days have passed after the incident, but the accused are still roaming free,” the delegation deplored.
The delegation included PMA leaders Dr Masood Hiraj, Dr Rana Khawar, Dr Zulqarnain Haider and others.

Adnan, 12, was brought to the Children Complex after falling from a three-storey building.
The doctors tried their best to save his life for 45 minutes by resuscitating him, but he died at midnight.
