Two killed in road accidents

A young man was killed during a traffic accident in Bhains Colony on Thursday. The deceased, 25-year-old Khalil, was a truck cleaner who had been travelling in a truck’s front seat when the accident occurred. His body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities. Separately, a woman, 40-year-old Radifa, died after being hit by a speeding car as she crossed the road in Sher Shah. The body was taken to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Radifa, a resident of Manghopir, had been on her way to a relative’s house with her family when the collision happened. The police handed over the body to the next of kin.
