Virus claims 31 more lives in Sindh

2,430 new cases reported

As many as 31 coronavirus patients in Sindh died between Wednesday and Thursday, while 2,430 new cases emerged in the province, revealed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday. As a result, the infection tally has risen to 89,225, while the death toll has hit 1,437 across Sindh. According to the CM, 9,436 samples were tested on the day, yielding a 26 per cent positive ratio. Meanwhile, he added, 1,399 more people had recovered from the virus, bringing the total of those who had regained health in the province to 49,926. Furthermore, 37,893 patients are under treatment, with 36,072 of them in home isolation, 243 at isolation centres and 1,578 at different hospitals.
