A youth was killed and two others injured in separate firing incidents in different parts of the city on Wednesday.
A young man was killed, while a girl was injured in a firing incident in Qasba Colony in the jurisdiction of Orangi Town Police Station.
The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the deceased was identified as 18-year-old Zahid alias Mitho and the injured as 17-year-old Naheed.
According to SHO Sarfraz Ahmed Baloch, the boy and the girl liked each other and wanted to get married against the will of their families.
The girl's uncle, Muhammad Khan, allegedly shot and killed Zahid and injured his niece before fleeing from the spot, he said.
Meanwhile, Azhar Hussain, 57, was injured when robbers opened fire on him during a mugging bid near Jannatul Barkat in the limits of Model Colony Police Station.
