QAU 67th amongst ‘Golden Age Universities’

Times Higher Education world university listings rank the varsity at 75 in Asia

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings has ranked the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) at 67 in the Golden Age University Rankings for 2020.

The Golden Age ranking uses data from Times Higher Education (THE) to determine the best universities which were established more than 50 years ago, but are less than 80 years old. Moreover, Time Higher Education World University Rankings for Asia 2020 recently ranked Quaid-i-Azam University at 75 in the list of top 500 universities from Asia. Moreover, QAU was the only Pakistani university in the list of top 100 universities.

QAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali congratulated the varsity’s faculty, administrative staff, students and alumni for this tremendous achievement.

Pointing to the formula of their success, Prof Ali said that QAU’s focus on research, a tradition of strong teaching and mentorship, intellectual freedom and multicultural community have helped it reach a distinguished position and given it a reason to propel towards academic excellence.

“It's a team effort and I appreciate the faculty, students and support staff of QAU on this remarkable achievement and wish continued success for the university in the years to come,” he added.
