RAWALPINDI:
The Punjab Department of Agriculture and Food has decided to launch a project to build small storage warehouses and granaries across the province for storing crops.
Once built, farmers will be able to store their grain and other crops there for a predetermined time at very nominal charges.
Punjab Agriculture Department Spokesperson Muhammad Haroon said that Punjab Agriculture Minister Noman Langarial and the agriculture secretary had approved the project and allocated funds for their construction in the budget for the fiscal year 2020-21.
