Conceived and founded on the principles of art, inclusivity and timeless luxury, three friends and designers, Salman Naseer, Hammed Sadiq and Romiz Riaz, joined hands and conceptualised Zamanay, a unique world of haute couture. After being in the industry for almost a decade, it was a challenge bringing diverse aesthetics under one philosophy and rendering a timeless sensibility to it. The solution was rooted deep within them, art connects all mankind and that is what Zamanay stands for. In essence, they are artists who love fashion and strive to create wearable art.
‘Heart of the Valley’ a layered petal dress laden with impeccably shaded glass beads and crystals. The array of colours minutely blended together render a celestial light to when the surface shines. Complimented with a bejewelled belt, stones and crystals are wrapped in soft hued tulle.
‘The Coral Ravine’ elevating that exotic summer mood, this is delicately hand embroidered with turquoise stones, star crystals, glass beads and zari. The lilies blooming around the neck our exquisitely hand crafted with Japanese glass beads and each petal is created separately.
‘The Garland of East’ an opulent yet traditionally hand-crafted and embroidered bridal look, it uses deep jewelled tones, 3D petals, tinted crystals and glass beads. The blooming tulip shirt is lined with rose gold hand spun gauze with a delicately scalloped hem. Impeccably crafted, two birds made from tulle covered star crystals hold a stone encrusted belt around the waist. It is coupled with a trailing farshi gharara, heavily embellished with assorted crystals and customised gota. The trailing wrap is heavily embellished with four sided scalloped hand embroidery.
‘The Gilded Oasis’ This gold shift with artisanal hand crafted details, in shades of reds, greens and jades, has the right blend of traditional craft and modern sensibilities. It has exquisite hand-crafted 3D elements with swingy overlapped petal fringes. It is laden with precious tulle wrapped stones, star crystals, heaven glass beads and ganga-jammni hand-wire embroidery. It is coupled with fully hand embroidered trousers atop hand spun golden gauze.
‘Wind of Silver Rain’ an icy blue ombré bridal jacket, it is laden with elevated petal work in star crystals and glass beads with precious stones. It is coupled with a geometrically worked dress hand embroidered to perfection with silver gota and crystals. What flows ethereally with it is an intricately hand embellished trailing wrap. The entire look comes together with our exclusive accessory, an artisanal belt cinched glamorously around the waist.
