As many as 20 gamblers were arrested while stake money worth Rs396,000, cell phones and other items were recovered from their possession during raids on gambling dens in various parts of Attock, police said on Thursday.
An Attock police spokesperson on Thursday said that police had launched a crackdown against anti-social elements.
The Hassanabdal police station received information that some people were busy gambling in the area. A squad raided the site and arrested the 14 suspected gamblers.
Similarly, the Bhather Police raided a gambling den and arrested six people for gambling.
