TEdit chats with supermodel in the making, Munsif Ali Khan. In such a short period of time Munsif has numerous big campaigns and shoots under his belt. Read all about the his journey as a model and more.

What is the most rewarding part of your career?

When you get recognised for your hard work and commitment towards work on national and international platforms. Recently, I got nominated for two very prestigious awards at Lux Style Awards 2019 and Hum Style Awards 2019 for best male model, which was a great moral boost.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

SILVER SCREEN! In some action thriller may be in Hollywood.

If you weren’t a model, what would you be?

Certainly our National team’s very good looking cricketer. P.S. hope I am not sounding very self-obsessed.

What are the challenges you face being a model in our industry?

To maintain physique is very difficult. I have become a vegetarian and it takes a lot of dedication to maintain this diet and to let go of all the cravings one has!

How did you overcome those challenges?

By controlling my food intake and knowing when I shouldn’t eat something.

How did you venture into modelling?

A photographer friend introduced me to fashion week castings. He sent in some of my images clicked by him and by the next show I was on the runway. Some luck and dedication I would say.

What tips would you give to aspiring models?

Don’t work hard, work smart and be patient!

Two models you’d want to be stuck in an elevator with?

Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber, only if Zayn Malik and Justin Bieber wouldn’t kill me.

Your definition of love?

Love is a beautiful feeling, one has to be very lucky to develop this feeling.

If you could wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?

Ferragamo or Dior!

What is your idea of a perfect date?

An entire beach to myself and my date, listening to the sound of waves and talking about life.

Your biggest pet peeve?

Sounds of people eating.

First thing you notice in the opposite gender?

Height.
