BAP to discuss provincial issues with federal govt
CM constituted committee to directly discuss the provincial issues with the federal government
QUETTA:
The Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) negotiation committee has finalised agenda for talks with the federal government on provincial issues.
“The development and financial needs, energy crisis, funds for construction of highways and dams will be comprehensively discussed with the federal government in the upcoming meetings,” the BAP spokesperson said.
“The committee will meet Energy Minister Omar Ayub, Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh and present a strong case of the province before the federal government,” he added.
The committee is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan after the said meeting. The spokesperson noted that the committee would raise with federal government the issue of slow pace of development projects in the province.
“The CM has constituted this committee in order to directly discuss the provincial issues with the federal government” the spokesman said.
