36 more cops test corona-positive

KARACHI: As many as 36 more police officials have tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the tally of infected policemen to 151 in Sindh to date, stated a Sindh police spokesperson on Sunday. Around 119 officials are undergoing treatment while one sub-inspector is in critical condition. Meanwhile, 29 policemen have recovered from the disease and two have lost their lives to it. Claiming that the infected officials were being given the best possible treatment, the spokesperson added that Sindh police officials on the frontline remained determined to serve the people and keep them safe from the pandemic.
