RCB marks officers for transfer

RAWALPINDI:
On the instructions of Military Land and Cantoment (MLC) Director General Major General Syed Amir Hasnat Gilani, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board has started compiling lists of officers and employees sitting at the same station and posts for the last 30-35 years.
The CEO Rawalpindi Cantonment Board has sought details from the heads of all the departments to send the Grade IV and field staff to their respective departments.
MLC DG has started the process of posting Grade 1 to 16 officers working for the last several years in the same station and seat to different cantonments of the public dealing cantonments across the country.
The aim is to prevent corruption, nepotism and abuse of power, to ensure transparency and merit. All employees working other than their own departments will be sent to their respective departments next week.
