QUETTA: Three people, including a woman, died and ten others sustained injuries in separate accidents across Balochistan on Sunday.
A speeding car hit a motorcycle on Double Road Quetta killing a man on the spot while two minors were injured. Briefing on the details, the police said, the motorcyclist Shahjahan along with his
son Salman, grandson Aayan and another child Ariba was on his way to market when the speeding car hit them. Salman died on the spot while others sustained injuries. The body and injured minors were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta. The police arrested the car driver and confiscated the vehicle.
In Washuk district, a speeding vehicle overturned on the main highway in the Nag area, killing a woman and injuring six others, according to Levies source. Rescue team shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital. After medicolegal formalities the body was handed over to the heirs.
In an accident involving electrocution, a man died in the Grisha area of Nal tehsil in Khuzdar, said Levies sources. The deceased was identified as Ajmal whose body was handed over to the heirs after autopsy.
According to Levies sources, a man, identified as Mohammad Hanif, was critically injured in an armed clash over a land dispute in Kachi-Canal area of Sui town in Dera Bugti.
