The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to Kensington Royal Instagram to share a throwback photo from their wedding. The couple is celebrating their ninth anniversary.

The gorgeous photograph straight from the wedding archive shows the glowing newly-weds in the doorway of Westminster Abbey, with Prince Harry and Kate's sister Pippa Middleton in the background.

Pairing the image with a sweet thank you message to people for their support, the caption read, "Nine years ago today – thank you for all your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!"

Their globally televised wedding service was watched by millions across the globe and the picture strikes up memories of the couple's joyful day.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have enjoyed marital bliss through the course of these nine years and are also parents to three children - Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, two.

Currently, the couple continue to engage in their royal duties despite the lockdown and have taken part in a number of conversations over videos with hospitals and charities.
