The police is capable of tracing and arresting the killers who gunned down two members of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) lawyers forum and lawyers wing, a party delegation told the DIG Karachi during a meeting here on Saturday night at Central Police Office.
Saleem Zia, Syed Nehal Hashmi, Hafeezuddin, Asad Usmani and Zahid Shamir told the city police chief that the party’s central leadership, particularly Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, wanted to see the killers arrested without any delay. They said that one of the victims, Fahim Riaz Siddiqui, was a real gentleman and had no enemies. He did not have any sensitive cases and never appeared for any client who could prove dangerous later.
