Six men robbed at gunpoint
Looted men appealed to newly appointed West DIG Asim Qaimkhani to evaluate the performance of his district officials
KARACHI:
Six men were allegedly robbed of their mobile phones at gunpoint by five armed men outside a house in Federal B Area on Saturday night.
One of the victims, Muhammad Mubin Khan, submitted a complaint at the Azizabad police station about the alleged robbery.
According to Khan's statement, he and five others had been sitting outside his house after Iftar when five robbers on three motorcycles approached them, snatched their mobile phones at gunpoint, and fled. Khan claimed that the street where the incident took place is opposite the Azizabad police station.
He further maintained that the robbers had been in violation of the ban on pillion riding, but no police officials were nearby to ensure the ban's implementation.
