Balochistan governor, CM discuss virus situation

Governor lauded the government’s measures to stem the spread of virus and provision of safety gears to health staff

QUETTA: Balochistan CM Jam Kamal called on Governor Amanullah Yasinzai and discussed with him the measures taken by the provincial government to ensure provision of food and distribution of ration among the daily wagers in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

Both the leaders observed it had been globally declared that the only way to forestall the spread of COVID-19 was to maintain social distancing as no vaccine had been developed for the treatment of the respiratory disease. The CM and governor urged the people to avoid unnecessary movements, to stay at home and follow the government’s directives.

The governor lauded the government’s measures to stem the spread of virus and provision of safety gears to health staff.
