Man ‘commits suicide’ 

The deceased had reportedly been suffering from fever and a cough and had tested negative for COVID-19

KARACHI:
The body of a man who had allegedly strangled himself to death was found from a house in Mehmoodabad's Kashmir Colony late on Saturday night.

The deceased, reportedly around 35 years of age, was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities, after which the body was handed over to the family.

According to Mehmoodabad SHO Ejaz Pathan, the deceased had reportedly been suffering from fever and a cough and had tested negative for COVID-19. His family maintained he had committed suicide by strangling himself.


Meanwhile, a young girl died after allegedly falling from her apartment on the fourth floor in Gulistan-e-Rafi.

The deceased, identified as Iqra Adnan, 18, was taken by her family to JPMC. Her father claimed that she had fallen from their rented apartment while he was not at home.
