First DHA Quetta balloting held
The project will create a wide range of employment opportunities says Balochistan Governor

Balochistan Governor Amanullah Yasinzai has said for the first time a comprehensive project like Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is to become part of Quetta city.
"Located in the vicinity of a Special Economic Zone of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Quetta, the project will create a wide range of employment opportunities", the Balochistan governor said during the draws for DHA Quetta Phase One.
Addressing the audience, the governor said the DHA's town planning is being overseen by national and international experts and the residential society would incorporate all modern aspects including environmental protection, water conservation, recycling systems and principles of contemporary scientific research on style.
He said there are three major universities, a heart and cancer hospital and spacious roads in the area. "It will be a high quality residential area in which youth will have access to the best educational facilities," Yasinzai said.
DHA Quetta Administrator Brig Shahid Nawaz presented a souvenir to the governor.
