In Islamabad, new body takes over Jinnah Garden operations

Construction work on apartments will start as soon as layout plan is approved, say society’s management officials

ISLAMABAD: A newly-elected body has started working for the construction of Federal Employees Cooperative Housing Society (Jinnah Garden) to ensure immediate adjustment of affectees who were looted by the previous management.

The new management is working on the paperwork to have the layout plan of the society approved by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The society’s management officials said that construction work on the apartments will start as soon as the layout plan is approved

They said that Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat and Circle Registrar Asghar Niazi were extending full-fledged support to them for providing a roof to every affectee. The officials said ensuring rights to the citizens was their top priority and hoped that the bad impression of the society would dispel under the new management.
