Karachi law and order: HRCP to form fact-finding team

The HRCP mission will hold a public hearing at the Karachi Press Club.

ISLAMABAD: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has decided to form a fact-finding team to look into the causes of violence and discuss solutions for sustainable peace in Karachi. The team, comprising HRCP council members from all provinces, will meet representatives of the provincial government and political parties as well as those from other sections of society including businessmen, transporters, emergency and health services, NGOs and journalists. The HRCP mission will hold a public hearing at the Karachi Press Club at 3:30pm on July 31, a HRCP press release said on Sunday.
